The Miphack website
This is just a tribute to the web in the early 2000's
Specifically sites like Attrition.org, milw0rm and Packetstorm

_____
- I first got into Hacking in 1999
- Although I started taking it more seriously around 2008 out of all the cool security adjacent sites, Attrition, Packetstorm and Milw0rm were the ones that really made an impact. In the early days I would visit Securityfocus every day, but that always felt corporate, Packetstorm and Attrition felt right to me. When Anti-Sec came along it really made me reevaluate the scene, or maybe more the industry, I had benefited from Full disclosure. but was Full disclosure the best way ? how had it benefited "end users". There is a conflict between Anti-Sec (the movement) and this website(or what this website is a tribute to), when the Anti-Sec movment was active the Security Industry was different.
when Imageshack got hit, the scene was very very different, Anti-Sec was before its time.
The scene is not reverting, the acceleration is one way and I am here for it, while I am nostalgic for a time I think is better, today we have more things to hack, more things to learn..even if I still suck at it.
